NCLT

The National Center for Learning and Teaching (NCLT) of Nanoscale Science and Engineering Education (NSEE) is the first national center for NSEE in the US. The mission of NCLT is to develop the next generation of leaders in NSE teaching and learning, with an emphasis on NSEE capacity building, providing a strong impact on national STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. The guiding theme of NCLT is learning and teaching through inquiry and design of nanoscale materials and applications. http://www.nclt.us/

NanoEd

The NanoEd Resource Portal is a dynamic repository for information dissemination, research and collaborations among the community of nanoscale science and engineering education (NSEE) learners, teachers and researchers. NISE

The Nanoscale Informal Science Education (NISE) Network is designed to foster public awareness, engagement, and understanding of nanoscale science, engineering, and technology. To this end, the Network will drive a creative developmental process to innovate, prototype, and test new approaches to communicating the nanoscale world for use by others. This process will include a period of cross-disciplinary, cross-institutional experimentation. http://www.nisenet.org

Professor Naomi J. Halas

Professor Halas is the Stanley C. Moore Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Professor of Chemistry at Rice University. Much of the focus of the Halas Nanophotonics Research Group has been on the development of nanoshells for biotechnology. http://www.ece.rice.edu/~halas/
